Q's face when he sees Eliot walk up is just heartbreaking. It absolutely fucking kills me knowing that they never truly got a chance to see each other again before he died, and that the last time they really saw each other was before they had their memories wiped and Eliot was taken over. The whole situation is just a fuckin gut punch, and I hate the circumstances. Especially knowing that Eliot had that moment of clarity and realization where he realized how much he screwed up when Q suggested that they try being together. Ugh.

there’s something too strong about this. all of it. his character...his influence on everybody and the outpouring of emotion at his eventual demise. he’s more than a character. he become a beacon of hope for a lot of us. he really touched some of us and tbh his death hurt more than many of my closest. i can’t explain it. i mean he’s just a tv show personality but this pain feels so surprisingly real. and as such i’ll treat him with that respect. may one of the most beloved characters i know, flawed and conflicted and troubled as he was, finally have the solace and peace he deserves. beautiful video. thank you for letting me experience this part again. i need their rendition of this song to be on itunes

“Appreciate the level of sincere grief.” What an awesome line.

I never noticed but when Eliot shows up, they zone in on Alice looking to him, and when she looks back at the fire she almost looks annoyed by him being there, but then he sits down and she takes his hand because she understands Eliot loved Q and that Q loved him too, and that he deserved to be there as much as her. Real subtle but beautiful, this show man

My favourite part about Quentin is that he isn't a hero. He isn't The Protagonist everyone's been waiting for. He is just a guy who loves to read his favourite comfort books over and over again. It's like in the very first season when they can't assign him a Magical speciality because of how unremarkable he is. His battle magic is mid, he can't do anything spectacular or wondrous, he isn't strong or brave or extraordinarily hardworking or very intelligent or charming and romantic. He's jittery and socially awkward and a smartass and an overthinker who doubts himself. Just. Like. Everyone. His magical aptitude is in the Fixing of Small Things, which in the grand scale of the numerous epic, potentially apocalyptic quests he goes on, is almost useless. He's an Everyman. He's the same kind of unremarkable that every normal person with incredibly talented friends is. And it is precisely how average and normal he is that grounds literally every one of his friends. Him being so average is what gets him to do what others wouldn't because no one else with their talents and power would ever need to. It's his normalcy and how abnormally useless his speciality is that literally saves everything and everyone. It's what leaves the humungous void in everyone's hearts when he sacrifices himself because of course that's what he'd do. No one else was going to.

The character development in this show is some of the best I've ever seen. Excellent scene. Excellent show.

Proof that you cant have such a strong actor playing an equally strong character and kill them off and the show survive.
It tried, and the cast is excellent, but the void was too great and I, personally, couldn't finish season 5 without Q being there.
He was my anchor in this world and the one character I greatly related to.
Such a great scene...and a fitting goodbye for Q.

No matter how many times I watch this, it breaks my heart fresh. Can’t ever hear that song without thinking of it. The finale season just didn’t feel the same without Quentin

This scene was the first and only time I for-reals cried over a show. This one punched me in the feels and then kept kicking while I was down.

This was a beautiful ending, Q's reactions to everything was amazing and his face when he saw his attempts to save Eliot weren't in vane was tear-jerking, the whole thing is..

Of every show I have ever watched, there have only been two deaths that hit me with this sheer emptiness in my heart. Quentin and Bjorn Ironside from Vikings.
