In this video we complete our save functionality for now. We begin by learning how to save and load quick slot item types. Lastly we go through each item type in our player's inventory and we learn how to save and load each item by using lists of their respective serialization types.

Great conclusion to the save mechanics.

I think I might make my equipment into serializable equipment and slap on some durability ;)

In 25:12 u could just write at the top currentCharacterdata = new CharacterData(); so it initialize all varaibles

may I ask you something, Im really new to Unity but have some experience in C#. I really want to learn Unity - Would you say that this series isa good start? And (havent watched your videos yet. I had them saved for a long time now to come back to it) can I use Unity 6? Is there any difference to older versions since I mostly find tutorials etc in older ones.
