None of you knew her, but last year my town lost a girl named Bria. She was the sweetest girl i had the pleasure of knowing. This song makes me think about all of memories of her. I remember her melodic laugh, her determination when she played sports, her passion for acting, and mostly, her emotion when she sang. We weren't close but it really stings in my heart when i think about her. It was an open casket. the image of her lying there, lifeless, is etched in my head forever. I remember watching her chest, waiting to see it move up and down, it never did. She was very strong in her faith, she brought God into many peoples life, including mine. The last time i saw her breathing was on a friday. The friday before her passing. We had drama together and we were on stage. She just came out of nowhere and gave me a big hug. I feel so blessed to have been one of the last people she hugged before she passed. She died February 28, 2015. She had just turned fourteen. Thank you Conor, for reminding me what a wonderful girl she was. You remind me of her.

The first time I heard this in 2013 I heard it in a rough time, it calmed me down, ever since then I've been hearing Conor's cover every time I'm feeling bad, it's helped me so much, calmed me down during more than one panic attack when I had no one else to calm me, I like the original, but Conor's voice gives me so much hope, so much love for life. I mean the original song makes me pretty emotional every time I listen to it but then you covered it and I remember crying the first time I saw this.
