Cessna 208 FERRY FLIGHT & SKYDIVE OPS.

I can't believe it's taken this long, but I FINALLY filmed a video flying the mighty Cessna 208 Caravan! The C208 is hands down my favorite aircraft in the world, and I've enjoyed every minute spent in this cockpit. Join me as I ferry the PH-LBR from Rotterdam airport to Spa in Belgium, for a week of dropping skydivers! Watch until the end for an usual surprise!! (hint: luckily i wasn't the only pilot in that plane!!)

This was one of the most joyous videos I've ever seen on YouTube. Bambi could bring sunshine to a rainy day just by being there. As for the C-208B, it's one of my favorite planes in flight sims. Very easy to fly, with lots of load capacity. And better range than a Pilatus, and easier to taxi than one too, being a trike instead of a tail-dragger.

Absolutely marvellous and inspiring. Ever since I was a tiny boy I have been fascinated by planes, going out of my way to watch landings/take-offs whenever I can. I did my first solo in '04 in a C152 at YBBK here in Sydney, and now my 12yo son is headed down that pathway too, joining the Air Force Cadets where he will fly gliders and then a DA-40. I almost had tears as you rotated - the joy on your face, that natural high that comes with doing something that you love so much. I am very moved to get back to it after too many years off.
