No lie, I was happy this being a wake up call for Gohan. If Goku and Vegeta are ever off planet, and some big bad shows up, someone needs to be home strong enough to defend the earth.

Toriyama doesn’t even care about these characters anymore.”

Yeah, that’s how I felt before Super Hero came out. But I still hate how Gohan was having his ass kicked and how Goten and Trunks didn’t even bother to fuse and help out. And Piccolo’s sacrifice felt lazy and just unneeded. The sad music just made it feel cheesy than emotional.
