I love Jethro Tull as much in 24 as I did in 74. When I was 11.
This is really important music to many of us.
Cheers!

This early Jethro Tull, kind of jazzy, is my favorite JT era along with early 70's masterpieces.

Ian Anderson is brilliant. Jethro Tull have always been my fave band from being a teenager.

There is only a "like" button. Where is the "love" button when you need it?

Everyone knows what kind of a musical genius Frank Zappa was, or Prince, or David Bowie – even the ones who don't actually like their music can see it, but I think Jethro Tull and Ian Anderson's contribution to music is one that is a little overlooked, despite practically _all_ their studio albums charting, simply because they never hit the singles charts with enough force after 1974 to be noticed through the mainstream forces of rock, disco, pop, Hip-hop and R'n'B and country crossovers that have been dominating the charts the last 50 years.

But, like those other greats I mentioned first, Jethro Tull has always been a great inspiration to many, a musician's musicians, doing their own thing with integrity and honesty, and not just pandering to the perceived and often illusory notion of what someone thinks the public might want, or that they get told they should like by the gatekeepers. And I think people respond to that very strongly when they see it: someone doing it because it is what they love, in the way they love doing it, and because it expresses something they want to express, and when it provides meaning to someone else that's a bonus.

If only all music had been like that. Or all art, for that matter.

Despite my brother being into them, I didn't use to get their music so much because I didn't take the time to listen to it properly when I was young, but then there wasn't actually that much music I sat down and listened to intently back then. Not until a little later. Now many of my admittedly huge number of favourite pieces of music are Jethro Tull, or from Ian Anderson's solo albums.

I haven't seen much early 90s Tull. Only Ian could pull off that jacket 😂 His voice sounds great here too. Although it's not what it was, it fits the song nicely.

Always loved their first album, especially this song which lead off the record. Blues are where they started. Everyone got to start somewhere.

I seen the original Jethro Tull Band at The Allen Theater in 1970 and they were Fantastic - Lee Michaels opened for them and he was good too - But Tull kicked ass

I had no idea that Ian Anderson played Jazz. But I am not surprised that he kills it. Still amazing.
