Kent aka Lobo teaches the basics of how to play I'd Love You to Want Me on guitar. This is the 1st of the series. He will also show how to play other songs too.

Throughout his career, American singer-songwriter and producer Lobo managed to release hit after hit, while staying relatively out of the spotlight. After releasing “Me and You and a Dog Named Boo”, which reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1971, Lobo released 16 studio albums, charted another 7 Top 40 Billboard Hot 100 songs including 3 in the Top Ten, and another 13 Top 25 hits on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts, including 9 in the Top Ten and 4 No. 1’s. His smash hit “I’d Love You to Want Me” went No. 1 in almost every country. After touring globally for many years, Lobo now enjoys living a relatively quiet life with his wife, Susie.

I wish Lobo would continue making legendary songs like I'd love you to want me, How can I tell her, No secrets, Let it be me, Whispers in the wind and Morning Sun.

Thank You!! I TRULY appreciate you! ❤ I am just going into my 4th year (this November) and self-taught on 8 instruments. I now know about 54 chords, and performing. This is a very simpme, yet EFFECTIVE song, and one which my audience will love! ❤ BTW...whatever happened to that teacher?! 😂🤔🤫😏😉

Thanks for sharing. When someone considers the amalgamation of your songs, its seems like exactly what you would do. Some people never change. Thanks again, been a fan since the beginning.

Lobo, Your Voice, In the Song, "Don't Expect Me To Be Your Friend" Was by far, The greatest Romantic Song ever Recorded. I personally have heard every Romantic Singer, from all over the World, No other Voice, hit that Romantic Romance sound like your Outstanding Voice. Thanks for Sharing your guitar chords. You made it so easy to follow and Understand.

You just forgot to mention the bass line, it’s really awesome and I love it. “I’d love you to want me” is an excellent song for practicing bass guitar anytime.

Thank you so much. I've recently been given some not so good health news and am working on my bucket list. The only thing on that list is to learn to play guitar and maybe play for someone some day. So here I am, back at the great artists from my younger years. Thank you so much for helping me achieve something I've always wanted to do.
