Bicycle Lights: Olight, TAZ2000, Night Rider, Oh My! The basics of modern bike lighting

Bike lights are no longer simple flashlight designs modified to attach to handlebars. Today they are sophisticated tank-tough photon blaster that kick out car headlight amounts of light. Here are my Olight RN1500, my favorite the TAZ2000, and a pile of general use Night Rider lights. All are durable, tested rechargeable lights.

I have some nite rider lumina lights. They have been great for road riding and such. They are my most powerful flash light at about 900 lumens. However, recently I found out about Outbound Lighting. I was enamored by them with the mounting system, usb-c, and engineer first mentality for the design. I have since gotten the EVO handle bar light and I use one of the luminas as my helmet light for night mountain bike riding. It is everything and more of what I expected. I want their helmet light, and detour road light now to have better lights and to use usb-c. They are amazing lights and you wont regret trying any of them out.
