that's what I need in my code but it doesn't work for me . I'm using partial view to show the tree and only the root is displayed and class collapse and expand doesn't apply

very useful tutorial for a new learner like me but I found in my case the tree is not updating after the database is updated is there a way of forcing the tree to update each time the view is rendered ? it looks almost like the tree is cached or something similar I had to exit my web app and re run it to see changes new entry's reflected in the tree am I missing something obvious ?
