Large Caterpillar Train || ViralHog

"The video is of a train of Inland Bag-moth caterpillars that were crossing a newly graded dirt road. I saw the train as I drove past and initially thought it was a shredded snakeskin. I went back to check when I realized that it couldn’t be a snakeskin because the road graders would have buried a skin and that whatever it was had come onto the road in the past 30 minutes or so after the graders went past. I left as soon as the train reached the other side of the road."

I encountered a caterpillar train today at Wongyarra in South Australia. It was very funny and a bit hard to believe.

Would be a good migration strategy to protect themselves from birds, If i was a bird i wouldn't go near that

These are itchy caterpillars, if you will touch this or if any part of your body got touched with this you will start itching that part which will pain later.
