SA languages form groups of languages that is the reason we have less tribalism .We have Nguni group which foreigners like to say it's Zulu or Xhosa which is divisive , the truth is that Nguni group has SeShangaan, SeSwati, SeNdebele, IsiXhosa, IsiZulu .Then we have Sesotho group which largely spoken as well which is SeLobedu, SePedi, SeSotho, SeTswana.Then we have TshiVhenda and XiTsonga group all this languages are largely spoken in South Africa and they are interconnected with each other .English and Afrikaans words are imbedded in all this languages wich is also the reason why Afrikaans is unique and a strictly South African language which also have words from native groups depending where you speak the Afrikaans from .All this languages are largely spoken .Foreigners like to say Zulu, Xhosa, English and Afrikaans are largely spoken which is not true .Our languages go in groups and they interlink making it easier for the Rainbow nation to bond and fight tribalsm and racism.
