There is a uncompletable quest called "forged anew" that requires you to play the new territory playlist (has been gone since the start of the final shape) in order to have the ability to focus comp weapons. Bungo hasn't addressed it

I do not understand why they don't just swap the pathfinder reward. Just make the pale heart 2x per week reward the class item, not Ergo Sum. Ergo Sum is infinitely farmable with Overthrow, the extra 2 class items to grab would be VERY nice.

The only thing that will actually help is dupe protection

Make them craftable. Make them drop from grandmaster excision and nightfalls. Make them drop from pathfinder. Dupe protection.

Solo players continue to get screwed for the exotic class item, I guess we don't matter. Bungie already took our money so why bother with solo players at all.

Xur selling exotic class items is a kick in the dick to solo players. Dual Destiny shouldn't be required.

Xur doesn't change anything about them other than offer another dice roll.

Give dual destiny a boss checkpoint and give full runs incentives like dupe protection/double loot once per character

Yeah still salty they advertised this as part of the expansion, but it didn’t come out the same time as the launch of it and when it did, it was so timegated/exclusive that players felt sort of cheated out of their money. I pay for said thing I saw therefore I should easily obtain it. All it does is give double perks and it’s not even all perks in the game 😂 if you didn’t want players to have something this rare, it never should’ve been implemented then. It’s like implementing Bow’s for the first time, but you have to do a solo non match made raid that’s as long as last wish to get only 1 Bow good luck. Just a stupid concept all in all

If Bungie wants to keep Exotic Class items an RNG based exotic, then I seriously hope they'll make it possible to simply get the class item as a rare, yet still occuring drop from all activities in the game. Post match rewards, random engrams on the floor, chests, bounties of any kind. Make it the most purest form of random drop from anywhere! Pale Heart can have that highest possible drop rate but I think a lot of people would be happy to be able to just play the game how they wished to play it and still have some odds of seeing it drop.

Depending on the Xur changes, they should perhaps increase the carry capacity of strange coins a bit too.

They need to increase max strange coins we can hold to get the class items then. Think it caps at 99 if I remember right

What does Bungie not understand about the player base when it comes to class items? This solves nothing. While dual destiny is good, farming it hundreds of times is not it. Open the flood gates. Double or even triple the drop rates for overthrows. Give us a way to focus them. Players are unbelievably unhappy right now, and the last thing Bungie should do is be stingy. Give the players what they want.
