I have only just found your channel and find it so wonderful. Your cottage, gardens and woodland are so beautiful and I think you do amazing things. I am 73 yrs old and agree with every word you said in this video. I live alone in south east Staffordshire (England) and have been on my own for 24 years now. I have recently had a hip replacement and not been able or had the enthusiasm to do much, but your channel will give me the incentive to get off my a...e and do the things I have neglected, and hopefully be more positive. I have always felt this way, Colette. Seeking solitude in nature and the garden has been a great refuge. Much truth is there. If and when I have tried to fit in with the masses, it usually has not worked or felt right. Before we bought this little cottage here in Lancashire, with its tiny patch of garden but open views, I lived in the grounds of a former Cistercian abbey where I felt such deep peace. Alas, it was a rented situation so could not continue for one reason or another but things came together. I cannot help but feel frustration with most ways of the world and I see a lot of people going about creating more difficulty and harm. I am grateful to those living a life of harmony and peace so thank you for being such a shining example. I think a lot can be learned from the ancients a lot of which is intuitive.

I've been hiding under a mushroom since the pandemic. I know enough to know how to vote for the good of the planet for all the good of may or may not do. I'm totally against all this madness and mayhem brought abought by the greed of males who should know better by now. They the male are egotists bent on showing off to rivals money hoarders with little common sense. 2025 who knows what's in store

Peace to you Collette. As a Christian I am reminded that I am in the world but not of the world. That allows for separation and ability to live my life according to a plan of peace and love for each other. I’m going through a new metamorphosis and I’m at rest.

You are so right it is too easy to be pulled down by the unconscionable goings on in the word today. My mother would have said that "the world had gone to hell in a handcart!" yet this morning I looked out of my window at the bird feeder and saw that a jay had discovered the nuts and was having a right old feast. It lifted my spirits and so I have turned away from the papers and media and spent a very wintery couple of hours down on the allotment. Nothing much to do but surrounded by trees, a little river and the birds. Home refreshed for a lovely cup of tea.

I'm researching as we speak, my great uncle who died age 19 in 1917. His 'body' was found in 1920. My life has changed so much since 2020. I now live as simply and peacefully as I feasibly can. I often think back to the 'good old days'. At 70 now and all of the older generation gone, I do get quite nostalgic ❤
