5 decades of being trickled on by the rich is the problem.

Rampant inequality due to wages not keeping up with inflation in decades. This growing gap is not sustainable.

I'm not an economist but one of the reasons the economy feels terrible right now is because the Trump tax cuts are still in effect and those tax cuts pretty much only benefit the top 1%

Sick of being gaslit by statements that things are improving when in fact prices are NOT declining they are just getting higher at a slower pace

Reason for the anger is because every thing is over 20% more expensive, and rent is unaffordable

What a load of BS. This was a bunch of gaslighting. It’s not a matter of point of view! Mt mother made 36k in the tech industry in 1986. I made the same amount in 2020 as a teacher. Yes, there are plenty of jobs-that don’t pay enough to live on, let alone save or buy a home. People aren’t having children, not because they perceive a bleak future, but because they can’t afford them!

I hate how people getting paid 6 figures to “analyze” our frustration just say it’s psychological.

Not just the U.S., it’s pretty much the same phenomenon in other developed countries. The era of plenty is over, and there is less and less for the newer generations to compete for.

Deregulation is what killed the teamsters and drove trucker pay way down to what is today. Pricing for freight services became a race to the bottom, cutting driver pay was a major way they brought down costs.

Thats an easy one to answer. Because inflation is up 21.39%+ since 2020. And it’s going up more every year.

Why no congressional investigation into this inflation. Big corporations are reporting record profits. There is price gouging going on & there needs to be accountability.

We’re upset because the cost of everything has been outpacing wages for DECADES. Yes, recently wages have outpaced inflation, but that’s like saying someone should be happy they are running a SLIGHTLY faster pace than someone who is 21 miles ahead of them….lol

We need administration that does not print money. That means not Biden and not trump both of them have printed more money than all other administrations combines. Money printing may stimulate an economy but it taxes our currency via INFLATION.

I voted for the first time at age 18 in 1976 and learned quickly how the economy affects the outcome of an election. 2 examples, Carter and Bush Sr. Party affiliation has nothing to do with it, financial security in the middle class sector has everything to do with it.

What I can't figure out is why that teamsters president is speaking at the RNC of all places decrying am unequal playing field and corporate collaboration to hurt workers. Duh, what party is overwhelmingly responsible for that?

This is like being invited to OPEC to complain about cartels and high oil prices, then pledging support for OPEC
