Days after the US midterm elections, control of Congress is still up in the air. Democrat Mark Kelly won re-election in a key Senate race in Arizona. He defeated the Trump-backed venture capitalist Blake Masters, who has yet to concede. Democrats and Republicans now have 49 seats each in the upper house of Congress. Control will come down to the result in Nevada or Georgia, which is going to a run-off in December.

I live in Arizona, am registered Republican and voted a straight Democratic ticket for the second consecutive election. 11 of my grandfathers and great uncles served in WW2, some in major battles, and some came home with Purple Hearts. Important News, but the reporter should no give an opinion, instead, it is about just reporting facts. At best, regarding the role of the Latino Vote 🗳 in the USA 🇺🇸 mid terms, is misguided opinion and at worst it is an intentionally divisive opinion. We are all people of color and we should not try to divide between Americans with Hispanic ancestry and those with Southwest Asia ancestry. Indeed, there is a big difference between being ‘a minority’ and an “under-represented minority” in the USA 🇺🇸. Which means by default that there are over-represented ethnic groups as well, minority class non-withstanding.
