Thanks to the doors working on the pods I'm using my Carrack to transport cargo to and from hangars at last. Be interesting to see what pods are next.

This ship has always had so much potential. Sadly i think a lot of the features might not materialise with the shift of the game.

The Carrack and the Polaris are often compared with each other. The interior of the Carrack is clearly more civilianized than the Polaris and isn't meant to be as spartan. The interiors are more detailed on the Carrack, but so much is wasted in terms of functional space. The med bay is incredible to look at, but you only have one med bed in terms of function.

I know many people hate on the Polaris for its bland design, but I'd argue that far more of its interior is functional than the Carrack, and it's meant to be a military vessel. It's like comparing the Galaxy-class USS Enterprise to the Defiant-class USS Defiant. They're built for two completely different purposes.
