My doctor didn’t do this test to assess my injury and only did and X-ray and said tendinitis but I have extreme pain when doing this it feel like it’s on fire and tearing. I told them I want further testing could mri confirm?

What if you feel no pain in this very joint of the thumb? And it feels as if that section of your thumb is missing. Because the thumb has a slower reaction time than my other thumb.

Hello doc, if you see this reply hope you answer me asap, I sprained my thumb around two months ago and it hurt about two days and the pain just disappeared, but a couple of days ago the pain just came back, even though i can still move my thumb back and forth with no problem.
Right now the pain just comes and goes but not too much.
I can still grab things with no problem as if nothing happened.
Shall i go to the clinic or shall i just wear a thumb splint until the pain goes away permanently?
Also, is it too late to fix my thumb forever?
