As a runway model I can tell you what happened here. Carmen forgot the choreography & was supposed to walk down the left, pose, then return up the right. If Colette liked her she would have gone along with her error so as not to show her up. Instead she was clearly very keen to seize the opportunity to embarrass Carmen & stuck to the original choreography highlighting the mistake. She may have made her look stupid BUT Colette will actually be blamed by the designer or show produces for ruining the finale by not covering up the lead model’s mistake. There is no way for the model in front to know what’s going on behind her.

U can actually see the 3rd model leaning towards the first model trying to cover up the mistake but when the 2nd model kept going the other side she moved along

Do you guys remember when Gisele was zigzagging all over the runway? Naomi was behind her, and what did she do? She followed Giselle. That's what great models do. It's not about you, it's about the designer and the show. The second model is someone I would never hire if I were a designer.

Colette was being unprofessional and Carmen still managed to recover the situation. A true pro!

The third model made the right call. If she had chosen to follow the first model she could have created far more chaos and confusion. I’d chastise the first model for the error and never work with the second model ever again because she put her personal issues over the brand and the job. She could have made the lead model’s mistake invisible to everyone else but chose to not only not correct it but actually speed up, not allowing the first model time to correct it, making the show finale look disorganized

But the one in front stands out more, and the person who is second in line came out rude and ruined the show. Although the 1st one made a mistake, it's not intentional whereas the 2nd one is clearly seen with bad intention and that's not good in a professional environment and in the middle of the show.

If the lead model makes a mistake like this, its the responsibility of the second to conceal by following her lead anyway. She took it upon herself to act like a hero, in turn made the lead model look silly by pointing out the mistake. This is not a solo project, they were supposed to be a team. She took all focus off the designer, and instead brought negative attention to the entire show. Designers dont need a hero trying to steal their show, they need teamwork to conceil any mistakes. She would recieve more praise by following her lead.

You see what we have here is a battle on the third model. 1st chose a path. 2nd chose not to follow be it the correct path or not. But the important one here is the third model. She saw, stalled a bit down the center….then chose her leader and the others followed suit. The third model is who could have made or broke the second models choice. Just my observation. But go back and you can see her observing the situation then eventually making her choice. She did not blindly follow but assessed the situation, chose a path and followed it.

The model who was third in line had to opportunity to be in the center as well but she choose to turn more to the right so she was behind the second model. IT'S CALLED PROFESSIONALISM

If only Collette followed Carmen's lane, Carmen would have the chance to correct her mistake by starting left lane the switch to right lane so the mistake won't be that obvious. Now it looks like they are going against each other.
