Type O Negative is so underrated it is criminal. They are musical geniuses. Literally. Nearly every song of theirs is brilliant. The harmonies & melodies are so unusual & some of the most beautiful I've ever heard in my life. There is no other band that sounds like them. With most bands, you can clearly hear what influenced them or that they sound like another band you've heard. Not Type O Negative.

While it's nice that they are finally getting bigger than they were when Peter was alive & some of the recognition they have always deserved. It's sad that he's not around to see it. Peter himself had no idea how good his own band was & how genius their music is.

Type O Negative are most innovitive and unique sounding band ever to come out of the 90's metal scene and beyond. It's a fucking perfect combination. The rich, bassy tones of Peter's vocals/bass, Josh's ethereal synth and Kenny's buzzsaw guitar tone. Nothing I've heard since has and ever will come close.

I got to see them twice and was never disappointed. Type O has always been my "go too". They knew the shit stain called life. They covered realistic emotions we all feel and were damned perfect at it. I miss them personally. They have no idea what they did for me and my mind. Type O eternal!
