Did You Know? Explaining your Ataxia diagnosis video

You finally get diagnosed. You have Ataxia. You begin to tell your family but instantly and understandably they bombard you with a million questions. The first question being what’s Ataxia?
You find yourself wondering the same thing. You were so happy to have a name for this thing that’s been wreaking havoc on your life that you neglected to ask much about it. Oh and the questions you did ask were answered with this is progressive, no known cure, very rare.

How was John diagnosed? I wld t no what type I have just a late onset degenerative cerrabellum disorder and ataxia in my notes. No known history I. Family not hluten sebsative don’t drink much bloods ok etc so what.ivwas under a lot of stress for a few years frim when my husband was ill, the. He passed and imlive on my own. Need a walker gave balance issues walking difficulties can’t write, need to hold on with one hand when showering. Speech slurs when I’m tired or stressed. Nyastagmus

Yes it’s rare degenerative and no known cure! All the meds said oh and it will threaten living Independently. Is your John on any meds?
