Honestly it's a good thing the general public isn't allowed in these auctions, I've been to a government auction open to the public and people just bid these rediculous prices often more than what a car is worth ruining it for everyone else.

I bought a 2011 g37s with 79, 000 miles for 4 grand, the picture from auction showed it had a missing bumper, when i got the car delivered the bumper was in the backseat in perfect condition, saved myself thousands

I bought a 3yr old M3 through auction, never again. After getting some condensation in a headlight I took it to a dealer (still under warranty). Only to find it had been in an accident and they won't cover anything on it.

I'll stick with CPO or new.
