Full garden tour for those of you who have wondered what all I've got growing on in the Epic Garden this summer. It's imperfect, as all gardens are, but I wanted to show you EVERYTHING, even if it's a mess! I hope you enjoy this relaxed tour :)

I enjoyed hearing you say that you are 'absolutely stoked' with your dragon plant. I have never heard anyone outside Australia use that phrase!

I cannot tell you how much i’ve learned from you on youtube and tiktok. I grew up with an in-ground garden, but as an adult i’ve had to convert to urban gardening and you really explain it in a way I can understand and actually enjoy watching. thank you and keep it up

" Some of the best gardeners have killed the most plants" yes! As long as you are learning nothing is wasted, thanks Kevin!

I left my peppers outdoors in the ground with no pruning last winter as an experiment. They made it through frost on the ground several times and are now cranking out fruit (zone 10a). Bringing them in is safer, but if you have some planted in the ground and you don’t get very hard frosts then leaving them be is worth a shot.

Love it... Thanks for showing the different techniques. I have used the 3 sisters with the corn a few times in Nor Cal and not only does it work but it also discouraged the deer for just a bit when my butternut squash came in and they did not like to walk into the corn field and try to get into the beans... I am loving all the plant groupings and will try some of the grow bags now.

Fabulous! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with your bigger garden. Learning so much, but Hoy! I keep starting things in the wrong season. I just started 35 lettuce seedlings (here in Sacramento). I'm hoping they will grow under the squash plants and shady areas in my little garden.

Stag horns and fern trees are a staple in my parent's garden in QLD Australia. They don't do anything to them honestly. Mum puts tealeaves and banana skins in the back of the stag horns every few months and waters them every few weeks. The fern tree is next to the frog pond and in constant dappled shade. They're pretty good like that! My parents are in a really dry part of Queensland, 18%-35% humidity is standard, temps tend to range from -5C to 45C, and they rarely get rain (drought conditions basically).

We really need a gardening community for crop swaps and foraging parties

I think the flower at 23:20 is Godetia. It's so pretty. I planted pineapple sage in my greenstalk just to see what it would do. Its root system took over the entire level, moved it to a large pot earlier this Spring and it is really happy. I love rubbing my hands on it as I walk the garden in the morning. Thank you for all the great videos.

Kevin, you have so many great ideas! So you know we clicked on the Vegepod link and just put 2 medium beds and 2 medium trolleys in our cart! Your presentation came at the right time - we have veggie plants that need to be relocated so we can plant new veggies and didn't want to share our harvest with pests - this is the solution! Whooo hooo! Thanks so much for the great tips!

Cool thank you for the showcase. taking care of plants is hard but rewarding work. This year I've perfected growing sweet mint without any bugs the plant is extremely healthy and lush. I grow it in a small long plastic container that I can bring in and out of the house. I take clippings from it and put them in my pillow case along with some lavander it smells really nice this is why I love to garden. I appreciate your knowledge keep that inspiration coming.

Thank you Kevin! I love your channel, it is indeed very educative and encouraging. I’ve been trying to grow things for years and this is my first year really feeling like I’m succeeding with a large variety of plants in a small space in the balcony. I normally struggle so much with aphids on my aubergines, regardless of how many aromatics I put around them. I have to check them twice a day and there is always 2 or 3 guys hanging there. Good thing been at home because of the pandemia allows me to pay additional attention and it is perhaps the reason it has been the best year so far. Thank you for your work and all the sharing!

I like have he admits that never ever thing he grows is perfect or at least not at first. It makes me feel better when I mess up. 😊

Not sure if anyone chimed in, but those pink flowers were "Farewell-to-spring" Clarkias. Have a bunch in my garden as well! Prune early and often for some nice color cut flowers indoors!

Hey Kevin! Love your videos! Sometimes I watch your older videos at night when I’m having difficulty sleeping haha. They’re relaxing! I was wondering if you Can please do a video on avocado trees? I have a dying young avocado tree with yellowish droopy leaves, brown ends, etc. I’m trying my best to keep it alive but I don’t want all my efforts to go to waste and could use your advice. Thank you!
