3. Self doubt, we think we can’t do it and we’ll just get rejected

As a dude, girls are just kind of intimidating and we can’t help but think about what could go wrong when we ask. And from personal experience, it can go wrong, and it’s embarrassing. So guys nowadays prefer not to make the first move. Especially when the signs are so hard to read. Me personally, I find it more attractive when a girl makes the first move. It says a lot about her character. But that has yet to happen to me. I’ve only asked out two girls in my life and was “successful” once.
