edit: succumb litterally means *die from the effect of a disease or injury.* the cat is not sleeping, it died. the child is dragging a dead cat.
edit 2: the sound the cat makes could imply that it get's knocked unconscious, but a rock into the skull of a cat? even if the cat was sleeping, the cat would wake up from being scraped along the grass and down *1 meter drops*. This settles it, the cat is not sleeping. please stop saying that it is.
