I love how any time Melissa gives a piece of Jewelry a second look Alex asks her if she likes it and might want to keep it. Not that she could not just keep any piece she wanted to have anyway, but it is sweet that he asks her.

I am almost positive that that little wrench money clip is actually a tie clip. The "Hand" is protection from the Evil Eye called a Hamsa, popular in North Africa and Middle East. Thanks for the fun! 👋

Alex "Melissa, I'll video you going through this suitcase full of jewelry." Also Alex... "Oooh... Look! A bag with a watch in it!" 🤣 I would be the same way. So eager to see all the Goodies!

10k ring with 4 or five stones looks like a mother's ring. Birthstones of all the children. Love your channel!

I noticed one of the items was Sarah Coventry. That jewelry was popular in the 1960s and 1070s in the US. I believe you could only order from an individual (kind of like Tupperware or Avon). Very good quality costume jewelry.

The pearl beads are probably covering over opal glass, if they’re from the fifties or sixties( or earlier) . The ring with the amber colored stone is maybe topaz, my birthstone. The hand is called a Hamsa hand or Hand of Fatima; it’s good luck. Rhinestones are really collectible. The baby spoons are so sweet!

Lots of fun looking through all that. Some nice pieces in there. By the way that bent spoon is made like that and is a Baby spoon to feed a child. Maybe that's were the expression born with a silver spoon in his mouth came from LOL Keep Safe ❤Keep Well ❤

At 13:55 those thin long bead necklaces are from the 80's/90's. You would put several together, twist them and use a special clasp to hold it all together. The idea was you could have necklace to match any outfit. I still have mine. Lol

I love these box openings, it's so exciting to see what treasures you find! Years ago I went to antique shows and would buy a bag of old jewelry. I would spend hours looking at every piece and would end up with black hands but I would have so much fun looking through and cleaning all the nice finds. 🥰🥰🥰

What a wonderful assortment! This lady did a fantastic job of keeping everything nice! Excellent! The pins are "stick pins". We used to stick those through a shawl collar on a sweater or on the lapel of a jacket or blazer.

I hope Melissa keeps the Sherman brooch and earrings set. They would look great on her! If the rosaries have metal crosses, check them, as older ones often have sterling crosses.

AWW, MADE ME SAD THAT THE FAMILY DIDN'T KEEP THE FAMILY RING & BABY SILVERWARE BUT I KNOW WHEN YOU'RE CLEANING OUT AN ESTATE YOU CAN'T KEEP EVERYTHING. GREAT FIND!

I think you need to start making 3 piles for your jewelry. The costume jewelry, the good stuff, and the stuff that puts a twinkle in Melissa’s eyes. It’s so apparent to us watching at home which items she secretly wants and
sometimes we cringe inside when Alex misses the signs. 🙄😊

Hi Alex, that was lots of fun going through all that jewelry. Melissa doesn’t ask for much I sure hope she gets to keep that little box of things she liked. So many Beautiful Things. Thanks for sharing
