Dizzy Fridays melt into mundane Monday morning
and I'm stuck in the loop
The black eyed dog screams and howls
through the storm in my gut, he's drowning in booze

My soul feels dirty and crude
and I've grown so tired loving you
but there ain't a single thing that i could do
stuck in the loop

I flush what good might remain
down the drain, as you board the morning train
and all apologies would be in vain I'm afraid.

This goddamn broken blood pump
beating in my chest so hard, it make cry and shout
and i would burn the world for you
but i got this hellish blue
I ain't no good in the loop.

The goodbye note i wrote
now i fold into a paper boat
release it into the sea
the stream might think kindly of me
