I like having a color each month. I love to see what people have done with the color especially colors that I do not usually use. I was thinking it may be interesting to have a block that we would make with the color. The same block each month. We would have enough blocks at end of year to make a lap color quilt for the year.

One of the best things I've learned from watching you is that it's okay to "go rogue". I didn't always want to make a quilt the size a pattern called for so I'd pass it up. I love the color brown, mocha, etc. I have a brown and black tweed type fabric sofa. You can decorate around brown very easily. I am a fan of rich earth tones. Yes, please, continue the color of the month. I enjoy exploring different colors and how other creative people use and interpret color in quilts. We all benefit from viewing other people's quilts.

I have checked out Tula’s Book (Books) many times at my local library. It is a Ebook, but it lets you read and study info before deciding to buy the book. There might be a hard copy if you physically go to the library. My library has all the quilt magazines that you can browse for 21 day! Not all of us can afford to buy ALL those expensive books we want❤🎄(KH)

My favorite outfit in high school was a pink woolen straight skirt with a brown blouse. It was very classy-looking. Brown can be great.

I like the color of the month. Boy did that Pantone color of the year get slammed on some of the FB quilt groups. I think it is a fantastic supporting character with so many other colors! I got that Tula sampler book a few months ago and drew all 100 blocks in EQ8 so I can play around with layouts and color combos. This is one sew along I will definitely be doing! Quilt #1 of my sew your stash 2025 challenge!

I bought 100 blocks book last year and made a king size quilt for my daughter and son-in-law. I ended up making 120 blocks to fit bed the way they wanted. It was so much fun and hard work. I quilted it myself on my Janome machine and it turned out beautifully! She wanted a modern quilt, no stars. Lol
