I like the folding bike. I am a disabled vet, it seems like the perfect, light-weight mobility bike that would let me have the freedom to enjoy things like flea market, car shows, and nature trails that I couldn't otherwise enjoy. Thanks for the review, it helped me to realize that I need one.

A few months ago I worked as a maintenance technician of parking equipment in a big shopping mall. The parking lot had 3 underground levels and they were so big I was clocking 10 km daily of walking on average, and sometimes up to 18 on weekends. A fleet of this things would have been awesome to get around the mall. It would save the staff a lot of fatigue, and also allow for a quicker service for the customers.

Imo, you miss the purpose:
Ride it TO the train station, from your home.
Ride it FROM the train station to workplace
This replaces the bus!
<3 it

An e-bike in a backpack? This truly has some real life applications. It also has the cool gadget factor and I want it.

It's like a more extreme, less capable, but probably more useful Honda Motocompo. The perfect backup transportation to keep in a car's trunk. I love it!

I'd keep mine in the trunk of my car all the time, and whenever there was a good opportunity I could park the car and go for an electric bicycle ride. And you don't even need to lug the bike indoors to recharge. Just take out the battery for charging when you arrive at your destination.

If you've got the cash and even a little trunk space to spare, this is a good item to keep in the trunk along with a first aid kit, some basic automotive tools, emergency food and water, a blanket, a change of clothes, and a rifle. Now you can add a second ground vehicle without sacrificing much cargo capacity in most trunks. I don't think I'd miss the used space in anything larger than a kei car.

"I never read these, but I always get into trouble so I should probably read these.... Nahhh" That's the most relatable thing ever.

I think it works well in it own little niche too. Also, a nice toy for kids too and a value for whatever its able to do.

That is pretty cool. I think you missed 1 fold when you folded it back up, the seat post has 2 hinge points so that the seat top is facing down when completely folded. This might work well to carry around on a boat.

Lol: I love that you don't edit out the difficult parts to make it look like you're the genius that we already know you are. Thanks, great review!

This is a great little bike. I definitely see it as a last trip section tool. Or emergency transpo kept in car trunk.

The reason the front has a safety and the back doesn't is because of the hinge placement. If you were to hit a pump with the front tire it would try to force the hinge open but if the back wheel hits a bump moving forward it just forces the hinge more closed and doesn't effect anything. Also, since these hinges are angled outwards you would have to take your weight off the bike for them to go back in. Looks like a dope bike!

Being an RVer, that would be cool to take with to use in the campgrounds.

I think the reason there's a safety for the front wheel and not the back wheel is because if the front lock fails, you are going to get thrown over the front instantly. If the back lock fails, you probably won't even notice. Unless you try to walk it backwards.

The build quality of Xiaomi products are amazing, they also use metal wherever they can and still at an affordable price.
