The only thing you have to be careful about with this is if there are harder rocks stuck to the bottom of the spray bottle before you dip into the bucket. This happened to me when I was in my garage and I realized I was accidentally adding the grit from the slab stuck on the bottom of the sprayer due to it being wet on the bottom into the bucket. This isn't really a huge issue with a grit guard or emulcifying rinseless solution but if something harder gets onto the foam surface you just have to be sure to get it well-cleaned before back to the paint.

@DIY Detail. Thanks Yvan for your dilution tip on Rinseless Wash including the easy way to measure and fill a sprayer for pretreatment.

I read the directions on the Rinseless Wash bottle and it says to use 1 oz to the gallon. When I measure it takes 3 capfuls to make 1 oz.
Is the bottle's direction too much for just a bucket wash or pretreatment?
What about the label's 4-5 oz dilution for foam cannons?

I'm sorry but a cupful is nowhere near half an ounce. I've measured with several different measuring devices and 4 capfuls come out as 1 1/2 every time.

Hey guys, I have to ask; in this video it shows you using the standard .5 oz per gallon dilution and Nick explicitly mentioning the IK foamer. In more recent videos though, I see you recommend a much stronger dilution when using the same kind of foamer. Can it still work just fine at the standard dilution or is this video obsolete?

I always make my pre spray a little more concentrated, so it can lift up more of the dirt

I use 4oz in my ik Foam Pro 12 and rest water. Is this too much much or I can use less. The IK Foam Pro 12 is about 2 gallon
