A couple of years ago we all were in need of Hope. Austin Guitar Society asked us to play some music invoking hope. This was my contribution.

Probably Bach thought the same, as he devoted his life to the highest form of beauty: music. If that's not something to be hopeful for, I don't know what is.

David, I watched you perform this at hockstein theater in Rochester in 1986 or 87. You had just transcribed the Bach flute pieces. They is truly the most beautiful of them all. I’m sure Mr. Bach is very pleased with your contribution in making this available to serious guitarist.
