Anniversary Special | 101Reporters Turns Seven

Enabling rural freelance reporters has been the core of our seven-year-long transition from a news agency to a rural news magazine. The numbers speak for themselves but more than anything, the beauty of our work lies in the relationship—one built on mutual growth and trust—we have nurtured with our reporters.

The last seven years have been experimental and successfully so: in terms of how we can deliver better stories, adapt to the pandemic, respond to the changing media landscape and get our reporters to the mainstream.

We owe this milestone to our community of almost 3k reporters and over 60 publishing partners!
