Man it's to bad. If in a perfect world this game released with all those features. The game would have lasted more than a few months in popularity. I loved the game, but it needs more depth. Hopefully waiting to see these added by season 2.

the biggest hypocrisy is that cod has had many of the issues xDefiant is dealing with rn for years on end, but they are excused or overlooked while at the same time having that 70-100$ price tag

Now they decide to prioritize net code??? This game isn’t going to last much longer. Net code should have been prioritized in season 1 or even before the game came out.

Problem with Live Service is the devs need to be a 2-3 seasons ahead of the curve and launch with enough cool stuff to do from Day 1.

If the team have launched S1 and are now working on S2 that’s why they are struggling. In reality they should have S2 already done and be working on S3/4 so that content drops are frequent and regular.

Ubisoft suits forced an early release to see returns on their investments. Its clear as day. How else would an og mw3 lead dev, Mark Rubin, overlook how much the playerbase wanted an snd game mode that he had to push up development.
With what they've said about what dev work they have already finished, and the timeline of the 'bomb' game mode. It is crystal clear the game was released too early

XDefiant is a few months old, which people seem to forget. Why not enjoy what we have? "That thing to keep you playing" should be the game, not constant dopamine hits just too keep people invested.
