I really like her style, her music, her overall artistry. When I listen to her stuff, I feel like there's a real human being behind the work. It doesn't feel overly crafted or overworked. It doesn't feel managed to the point where the person disappears and all that's left is the product. Her work has, to me, dimension. It seems to breathe. It feels organic rather than generically crafted to be as unoffensive, obsequious, and innocuous as possible to maximize its money-grab potential.
