Aaron lost all respect from me when it was revealed that he never even spoke to Zach Wilson all last year. I get that Zach was never gonna win that starting job back, but seriously man? You've got a young QB out there who is at no risk of taking your job who is definitely going to a different team soon, and you can't give him some pointers. You can't give him some advice on how to make it in the league? Nope. Just sat there and made the whole season about himself while putting even more pressure on Wilson by saying IF the team makes the playoffs he might make it back.

In 2023, there was an effort by Aaron Rodgers, who was new to the Jets that year, to connect with his teammates. That was unfortunately followed by no regular season because he went down on the fourth offensive play of the first game. 2024 was the exact opposite of 2023 and even included some silliness in the offseason, like rumors about Rodgers running for vice president with RFK. In the end, A-Rod didn’t fully connect with his teammates and his presence might be a bit toxic in the Jets locker room. What a sad way to end a first-ballot hall-of-fame career.

The problem with Rodgers is he got stuck with Mike McCarthy for so long that they needed a change and they didn’t. Rodgers started calling his own plays to spite Mike and was doing ok at it. Then he was getting pissed that the packers were (rightfully) releasing his buddies at the ends of their productivity instead of giving them a ton of money to die out. So now Rodgers thinks he can be coach gm play caller qb and team leader.

Didn't like the Salah firing from day one. Maybe it's just my personal feeling but Robert Salah always struck me as the sort of guy I'd wanna go to battle for. Apparently knew what he was doing from an x's and o's perspective too.
