Awesome videos and new subscriber! Could you talk more about or even make a short video about sanitation? For example the sanitiser you use (blue bottle), how to make your own, how to know if your brew is off, etc... You may have covered this in a previous video but I can’t seem to find it? Thanks!

Oh p.s. please do a pineapple beer episode, it’s fairly simple to my understanding but I enjoy the quality of your content and the way you explain gives me the confidence to start. Thanks again!

Very cool video, i have been curious about making this for a bit and have some questions if you can answer them pls man, keep in mind i havent the first clue about any of this so how long did you leave it to ferment, along with how much final product will a water volume like that yield?

Hello Beaver. I subscribed to your channel, I searched the part 2 of the orange brandy recipe and I did not find it. Did you upload it?

I would bet a person could pull a bunch of oils out of the zest by covering them with the sugar you would add to the mash and let it set for a few days before covering with boiling water.

If you haven't already distilled you could add some orange peel to a gin basket.

What was the PH of that mash? Do you actually look for it or just not worry?

Couldn't you use carton OJ (from concentrate, no preservatives)?

Interesting :). May I give some idea for next time? :) For best possible skin flavor extraction I will do like that: At first skins off, like You do. Than squeeze all juice from oranges. Measure how much juice you have. Than take 2kg of sugar and put skins and sugar in the pot/ bucket and add hot boiled water on the skins+water to reach juice + (skin-sugar) liquid about 20Liters. For example - we have 5 Liters of juice, than we add 14 Liters hot boiled water on the skins and 2 kg sugar. Let it sit about 4? hours (until temperature drops to 20 degree Centigrade). Than filter, measure gravity and add final sugar for desired alcohol content in wash. Something like that :). 🥃
