Protests in Sarajevo, April 4 - International Stray Animals Day

Protests against killing of stray dogs in Bosnia were organized today by members of animal welfare organization "Av Mau" - under the name “Dogs have the right to life, just like people", in front of the Novi Grad Municipality building in Sarajevo.

Main goal was to draw attention to the increasingly frequent examples of torture and illegal killing of stray dogs in Bosnia, and demand for consistent implementation of the Law, which would in a humane and lawful manner led to a solution of the problem of stray dogs.
