Zippered Tote Bag WITH Pockets | Whitney Sews

Learn how to sew a lined tote bag with a zipper top and pockets on the front and back. I used a medium weight denim for my bag, but any mid weight fabric would work. I show step by step how to sew everything from the pockets to the zipper tabs and everything in between. You just saved my sanity. I have a bag with side and bottom panels, interior and exterior are complete, and then I decided to do a recessed zipper. None of the tutorials I found, open end or enclosed, were going to work with what I had without ripping a lot out. This is the PERFECT solution, esp considering I can't recess the zipper more than 1" and this way it's not recessed at all. Thank you so much!
