It's amazing that we keep hearing about how bad our players are defensively in the minors, which is why they need to stay down there.

And yet, when they get to the Mets, we always see they're making great play after great play after great play on defense.

Makes me wonder if the "they're not ready defensively" line is just another bullshit excuse for managing a young player service time before they are eligible for arbitration and a bigger payday.

That line of thinking is absurd and needs to be removed from the Mets organization. I can understand having that idiot mindset when we had the #wilPONZIs owning the team, but now it's Steve Cohen's team, which means he has an extra large bank account and proof that he's willing to actually spend the money
