Hornady critical duty is the best round you can carry. The government spent millions perfecting that round. That’s what I carry. I got some novelty rounds like RIPs but I wanted the best thing I can carry.

The Lighter grain bullets have less penetrating energy and power when they hit the target, are affected by wind gusts, have generally less actual gun overall recoil than heavier loads, impact the target lower at close ranges in the parabola, with generally snappier “felt” recoil..

The Heavier grain bullets have the advantages of increased power and penetrating energy, more stability in flight over longer distances from the weight, and better expansion and penetration (e.g., better to stop the threat)

165 Critical defense would be the best choice, 468 ft lbs out’ve a Glock 23 and averages 17-19 inch penetration.

Hst/🩸🐝 all day and I stay between 150/55/65 for .40s but 9s better overall for variety of HP ammo reliability some .40s have issues but always M&P/Glock for .40/.45/10mms, G26/G23 should always be your 1st 2 glocks to start with you only need a full size for .45/10mm not 9/40s cause you get tossed a 15rd Mag mid fight last mag 19x 😭

Ive trained more with hornady than civil defense ima pick hornady i run them in my G42 sd40ve and my 19x. Might pick up a few boxs of that civil defense though
