The suction motor spins as fast as a turbocharger. Any iteration of the Dyson ultra high-speed fan motor is inspired by the design of turbochargers and/or RC jet engines. A carbon fiber reinforced polymer compressor wheel is what creates the suction for vacuums and the pressure for hand dryers and hair dryers. It's a shame that design did not update their upright and canister vacuums with the V4 motor when given the chance before battery technology was good enough. I hope Dyson makes fullsize cordless vacuums where the 93, 000ish RPM digital motor and the removable rechargeable battery is housed inside the ball.

I found out the mesh screen in the v15 bin and v15+ is much more fine than the v11 and below mesh screens. Also the cyclones are designed where the airpath goes along the side of the cyclone walls rather than straight in to increase internal cyclonic spinning forces to filter out more dirt

I just got the V15 Detect and its very similar to my V11 Torque & Outsize. Dyson needs to pack their accessories a little better. The top of my anti tangle High Torque head is scuffed up. :(
