Gambling and Wellbeing | RAF Benevolent Fund

We have conducted the first in-depth research to look exclusively at the extent of gambling as an issue among serving RAF personnel, as well as other related health and wellbeing issues such as alcohol use and mental health. Our research sheds a detailed light on gambling and associated wellbeing issues within a single service.

The presentation and panel discussion will include Air Vice-Marshal Chris Elliot, RAF Benevolent Fund Controller, Air Vice-Marshal Maria Byford, Chief of Staff Personnel and Air Secretary, Dr Simon Dymond, Professor of Psychology and Behaviour Analysis at Swansea University, Alison Wyman, Associate Director Strategy & Impact and Justyn Larcombe, who has lived experiences of the impact of gambling.
