Granted you changed the battery and it works again but you should of tested for why it wasn't charging the battery. The solar panel will trigger it to go on and off but part of the charging circuit could be bad.

Don't assume everyone watching is tech- savvy. I'm a female senior citizen who installed new solar LEDs on our front door Xmas garland. I followed instructions on to install and charge. They worked during the dark but only for 5 minutes. It's frustrating and infuriating to think I might have been duped by ACE Hardware where I bought them.

check nyo din kasi since solar powered yan, for sure may light detector yan.. maliwanag yung work station ni sir malamang nag co-conflict kaya whenever he flips it down saka lang gumagana... out of the box, test nyo agad sya sa dark room. on/off switch.. tapos pag charging dapat direct sunlight hindi lilim inside the house..
