Ive been eating apples, pineapple, watermelon, etc... for my insulin spike after a hard workout, for protein im drinking Kefir post workout

Eat good train 3-4 times a week. Thats it. If your not going to go to competition. You dont need to be stressted about details.

Adaptation happens for 48h after you work out and it peaks in your sleep, not after you work out. Also protein takes time to digest. Protein and carb timing doesn't matter as long as its spreaded out to 3+ meals

I honestly gravitate towards sugar and protein and I am pretty much a bull. I had an apple and then ate half a lb of beef w cheese. Meat and dairy are my protein go tos.

You don’t have to eat chocolate or anything that’s high sugars you can easily eat yogurt before hitting the gym and your dinner after the gym

Do not eat sugary stuff. Eat proper stuff. If you have to have sugar then eat fruit for the natural sugars. Have pasta, potatoes etc for carbs.

Muscles need glycogen when lifting weights.. to power that workout.. carbs before workout is essential.. HOWEVER.. Eatjng loads of empty carbs whrn NOT exercising or weightlifting will add to your fat stores.. its not what you do.. but the way that you do it 😊
