50 for 50 Challenge

Having recently turned 50, Dato’ Dr Dionysius Sharma, WWF-Malaysia’s Executive Director/CEO, pledged to plant 50 trees in degraded forest areas in Sabah, if he was able to raise RM50,000 for reforestation and orang-utan conservation efforts between July 2014 and August 2015. He ultimately raised more than RM70,000 and fulfilled his pledge on 30 September 2015. Dato’ Dr Dionysius Sharma sincerely thanks everyone who generously contributed.
