Over the past month, I've been growing salad greens and some herbs in my Aerogarden Harvest Elite. In this video, I go over the basics of the Aerogarden platform and show you the progress of my plants from the day they were planted to the day they were eaten.

Your Aerogarden videos have been very helpful as a new aerogarden owner! Appreciate you being so thorough!

I just got my bounty and the light helped all my other plants I have sprout. Now I use it as a seed starter. It’s one of the coolest things I bought lol 😂

Looks like you should have pruned the lettuce up quite bit during the growth so you can keep the light lower for the parsley. Thanks for the vid!

Great video. I’m by no means a professional but when you start over again I would recommend using no nutrients for at least the first couple weeks if not the first month. Maybe longer? I would play it by sight to start off. It seems to me like they got a little burnt. Judging from another comment you left it seems like the got over taken by nutrients. You could also try some organic nutrients that may be a little easier and possibly prevent burning in the future.

I had no luck with the herbs they send. However, the lettuce were very successful, and quickly!

I started my aero garden two days ago, and I wanted to put tin foil on it at night (I live in a studio apartment) but I was so scared it would catch on fire! Guess I was being paranoid Glad to see it won’t lol

Try using one of those 99 cent emergency mylar blankets from the camping section of your local big box store. I think it would be more reflective, and will cover more territory with one piece.

Thanks for the info, my aunt has one we had no idea they’d return the pods if they don’t germinate.

Great video! Purchased this for my wife (and me lol) for Christmas! Thanks for making this video!! We definitely need to eat more greens!! Not the garbage at the grocery store (pesticides)

we just discovered the led light is very hot and enclosing it with aluminum or carboard creates an oven and nothing grows

Thank you for this video! Funny how things work, my dill was one of the first 3 plants to germinate, but parsley hasn't done a thing! Salad greens tho in my second machine? All 12 pods with different kinds of lettuces germinated at the same time in exactly 2 days!

With regard to your different growth rates: I read a customer review on the Aerogarden website that stated: "Don’t plant lettuce and herbs at same time. Herbs will not grow even if they have sufficient light." So I looked further into the issue. Apparently, some lettuce plants will draw the nutrients quicker than the herbs, which makes it hard for the herbs to compete, so they supposedly grow better separately. Some users have two units because of this issue, while others say the product (& customer service) has gone downhill. Were you able to receive new seed pods? Thanks.
