Am so happy you did this video, i have struggled with ink blending with the regular flat foam pads but i see how these dome foam pads can be a complete game changer .. Gosh we'd be lost without you Simon! Thanks for doing this review❤️

I love the domed foam, Simon! I've been using them for a while now for my Oxides and they are great. I never was able to master the flat foam attachments, so I was thrilled when I got the domed foam and found out how well they worked. I still have the old daubers and my blending brushes for my Gina K. and Simon Hurley inks, but I will probably be switching those old daubers over to the domed foam too. I totally agree that both are needed for the two different looks you get - softer with the brushes, darker with the foam, and I'm one of those "gotta have it all" types!

I have been using the domed foam from Scrapbook.com for some time. I never clean mine. I use double sided sticky Velcro stuck to a dollar tree wooden arrow as a base and store them on it. I find that keeping them full of ink starts out the process quicker and I don't need as many applicators. Thanks for your review and look forward to all your new goodies coming out in the near future!

I have been waiting for Tim to come out with a dome since Scrapbook.com has their own. So glad to watch and hear your comparison. I expected them to do well and can't wait to get some. Glad you compared them to brushes also as they gave been great for me but takes more ink and effort to get a darker color down while the domes seemed to be darker right away. You are the only one I know who can start in the middle and not get a ring of color!!! Love your talent Simon!!

I would have never thought about trying these domed foam blenders... but now I will probably have to buy a pack. They are easier on the budget compared to Gina K's brushes. Thank you so much for sharing. You are so awesome.

I’ve had trouble with the lines and the old flat sponges. I like using the brushes for some things, foam for heavier applications of colour and edges. I’ll be switching to the domes. Thanks for the review!

I don’t usually blend inks as I have trouble with the smoothness. But now I’ve seen how the domed pads and brushes work I will probably invest in both. Also at present buying ranger inks trying to build up my collection. Looking forward to practicing with my blending.

I appreciated your review. Ive never been a fan of rangers standard blending sponges bit thats what we had. I love the brushes tho it is time consuming to get saturation. I keep hearing about the domed sponges. Your review has convinced me to try them. Thanks.

I think these might actually give my old foam tools new life! I'm one of those people who can't blend with the regular foams! Will be trying these! Also, love the nice bright background for your video today. Looks fabulous!

Hmm, I’ll need to keep looking into this. My problem was the foam becoming separated from the hook and loop tape (Velcro). Maybe with the more structured base it would last longer.
