[INTPF] Towards Hydrogen Economy: Lessons from the Netherlands
Показать описание
Many studies showed that (green) hydrogen could disrupt global trade and bilateral energy relations, reshaping the positioning of states with new hydrogen exporters and users emerging. In the Indonesia’s energy transition roadmap towards net zero emissions, the country has targeted to utilized hydrogen with a capacity of 328 MW and 9 GW in 2035 and 2060, respectively. However, the hydrogen ecosystem has not yet established in Indonesia.
Nearly a hundred Dutch technology providers with international track records are involved in the development of Dutch hydrogen market with hydrogen production of 9 Million m3 annually. The Netherlands is the second largest hydrogen production in the world, strategically located at the heart of the European hydrogen infrastructure proposed by 11 European grid operators. These best practices potentially help Indonesia create fast-moving research and partnership in hydrogen development.
