If you're ever interested in making this type of video i'd love to see a "the cost of homeschooling". I know there are plenty of free resources and every state requires different things, but it can be about the basics that you need to purchase. The financial aspect is what holds me back because we are a lower income one income household.

We have a black Nissan envy, seven kids, we home school, my oldest is 11, my husband and I started dating in high school, I wish I could run but have to back burner that for another season...and I always wanted a gray couch😉. I'm constantly rearranging our school room too! Glad I'm not alone. Beautiful chalkboard!! I do love to use a DIY white board made from melamine purchased at the box store. Beautiful room. Very inspirational. Thank you!

I love this homeschool room(: I have a question. I think chalk boards are nice but I'm just curious why you guys don't use a white board like you guys did years ago instead? Isn't that much easier to clean?

I love that everything is up high, like at our house, haha! So many homeschoolers on YouTube don't have one year olds and this is super encouraging!

The room looks great! Gave me lots of ideas for organizing our space. Our homeschool/playroom is still a work in progress. We just finished a major remodel, but hubby hasn’t made my built in bookshelves yet.

This probably isn’t all that surprising, but we have the exact same set up. Even the plant, IKEA bookshelf, The Good and the Beautiful nature notebooks, the basket for the library books... we had to move the plant upstairs to the vaulted ceiling because it got too tall (you’ll see..it gets TALL!). We have two papazan chairs for reading. And, yes, we have to put the toddler things down lower on the bookshelves and a lot of things up high. We have a 20-month-old, three-year-old, five-year-old, and a seven-year-old. We don’t have that cool chalkboard though!

We just received the math kit from TG&TB and my son looked at me and said “Why did you get me a baby toy?” Talking about the small abacus in the kit 😂
I remember your old room set up, and I’m loving this new room. Especially the chalkboard!
