As a conservative who has been having some doubts about Trump’s tax proposals and wanted to take a deeper dive into Harris’ proposals and their potential effects, I feel this video was really helpful. I just wish that as voters we could pick and choose the best from both plans because it does seem like they both miss the mark in some important ways, but also bring some decent ideas to the table.

I saw capital gains tax from 20% to almost 45%. That 20% capital gains is for people who make over 500k. Is the 25% increase affect people that makes under 500k who play 15% in capital gains tax? For example, people in the 15% bracket will see a similar increase to let’s say 40%. So people who make 50k would pay 40% in capital gains tax under Kamala.

The easiest thing is to remove capital gains rates. All income should be taxes the same rate.
