Not sure why Iran would need nuclear energy. They have the 2nd highest gas reserves in the world and have over 160 times it’s annual consumption. In other countries nuclear is being mothballed and no new plants are approved in favor of many other options and natural gas is a great option. So why do they act as if they won’t be able to supply the energy they need to the country? 1/6 of the country is desert. How about the Iran solar accords? Makes one wonder.
